Depending on the features you use, this includes:
Onboarding answers about medical conditions and medications, and locally saved progress or ketone-strip photos, are processed on your device in the current app rather than uploaded through those features. If you separately submit health information through an AI request, support message, or shared post, it is processed through that feature.
We obtain this information directly from what you enter or upload; your use of KetoBuddy; calculations and AI analysis of your inputs; and content another user shares with you or reports to us. An identity provider supplies sign-in identifiers that link records to your account.
The current app does not import Apple Health/HealthKit information, connect directly to ketone meters, or collect precise location to identify visits to health facilities. We do not purchase health records from data brokers.
We process consumer health data to provide the nutrition and wellness features you request: keeping and syncing your records, calculating totals and estimates, analysing a meal you submit, displaying progress, and enabling your selected social sharing. We also process information necessary to answer your requests, protect the service, investigate abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where the law requires consent beyond processing necessary to provide a product or service you request, that consent must be obtained before collection or sharing. Consent to collect is separate from consent to share where required. Accepting general Terms is not a substitute.
